- Basmati rice 2 cups
- Salt to taste
- To cook rice in a gas stove, take the water in the ratio 1:2,
i.e., for one cup rice use two and a half cup of water and vice-versa.
- Step 1
Wash 2 cup rice under running water. Drain and soak for 10 minutes.
- Step 2Heat a deep non-stick pan and add 4 cup boiling water to it.
- Step 3
Drain the rice and add to the pan along with salt. Cover and cook till it comes to a boil.
Reduce heat and cook for 15 minutes. Let it stand for 3-5 minutes and serve hot.
Your rice gets ready soon to serve in 15 minutes.
HOW TO COOK VEGETARIAN RICE BY EASY WAYS IN MICROWAVE
To cook rice in the microwave, take a baking dish. Add 2 cup rice and spread evenly.
Add 2 cups of water and salt(according to taste), cover the dish with cling film, make small
holes on cling film for steam, to remove out and place the dish in microwave on HIGH (100%) for 15 minutes.
Remove cling film, mix the rice and serve hot.
